Allied Newspapers
Allied Newspapers Limited was an offshoot of Progress Press, set up by Lord Strickland in 1922. It was established in 1939 to take over the newspaper publishing side of the business. Today, Allied Newspapers publish the Island's two leading newspapers, The Times and The Sunday Times, both national in outlook and both considered as a national institution, Allied Newspapers, which operates from Strickland House in Valletta, is right at the forefront of Malta's publishing business and its newspapers are considered as the flagship of the Island's print media.
Allied Retail and Commercial
The trading company was established to deal with the commercial pursuits of Allied Group, and to provide novel distribution and sales options for all existing services and products. Business concerns ancillary to the newspaper and printing industries include the provision and servicing of industrial and office equipment, as well as the wholesale and retail infrastructure to support these endeavours. Drawing on years of experience of the Group and developing its unique area of expertise, Allied Retail & Commercial Co. Ltd provides direct access to sales and penetration channels previously untapped by the traditional logistic systems of the Group.
Mediamaker
